I can't really easily discern too much history about this great little building, built sometime before 1937; it once was 1407 W. Knox / C St., but it is currently on the same parcel as the house immediately to its west, 926 Berkley. It is owned by St. John's Missionary Baptist Church. It appears to have been a restaurant/food stand by the 1940s, run by Major Roberts.
